Went hiking in the lovely area nearby, but got lost because the WiFi didn't work. Saw some interesting bugs. Didn't get to play billiards because there was no cue stick.
Who needs a functional washing machine anyway, right?

Perfect location in the heart of town, just a stone's throw away from the main street and a great bakery. The charming garden was a bonus, and my kids couldn't get enough of the friendly cats that hung out there. We had everything we needed to cook in the well-equipped kitchen, which was a big plus. The owner, Christ'line, was welcoming and spoke English fluently, making communication a breeze.
We had a bit of a rough start with the unfriendly hostess who was upset that we arrived a few minutes early. She seemed irritated by a lamp left on in one of our bedrooms and made it clear that we were guests in "her" house.

The room at La Closerie Teranga was cozy and inviting, with a rustic charm that made me feel like I was in a countryside cottage. I loved the comfortable bed and the two bathrooms with showers, which made getting ready in the morning a breeze. As someone who loves being in direct touch with nature, this room was perfect for me.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the decor in the room. It had a more traditional feel, which might appeal to others, but it wasn't quite my style.

the location was perfect, just a short walk away from the center of town. the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel like part of their family. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even fixing a projector for us and sharing their personal medicine when one of us fell ill. the accommodation itself was clean and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen. We also loved the unique decor and the outdoor area with a pool table. Cons: For us, it was ideal. 👌.

The room was amazing! It had not one, but two bathrooms with a nice, refreshing shower. As a parent with kids, this was a total game-changer. No more fighting over who gets to use the bathroom first. Pure heaven!
Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of the room's decor. It's just my personal taste, though.

The hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming, providing a tour of the house upon arrival. The 3-storey house had a stunning retro decor and comfortable beds. The beautiful garden and courtyard were perfect for enjoying the sunshine and a glass of wine. The location was ideal, with restaurants, cafes, and attractions like the Bayeux tapestry and cathedral just steps away. The Saturday morning market at the top of the road was a bonus. The hosts also recommended a fantastic restaurant nearby.
Felt like a true getaway, nothing to complain about.

My stay at La Closerie Teranga was fantastic. The location was excellent, right in the center of town with easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The garden was beautiful and my children loved playing there. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook our meals. The unique and eclectic decor added a fun and interesting touch to the property. I had a great experience and would highly recommend staying here.
One minor drawback was the layout of the bedrooms, with one room lacking a window and another room being separated from the main house. Additionally, the availability of only one full bathroom made it a bit inconvenient for sharing with another couple.
